Organising for Health and Safety Online Spring 2025

25 February – 25 March 2025

Our Organising for Health and Safety course is essential for new health and safety representatives. We have transformed our classroom based course into an online course, delivered by experienced TUC tutors.

The closing date for applications is the 10th of February 2025.

You will learn about health and safety legislation, including the law relating to risk assessment, and your employer’s responsibilities. It will help you work with members to tackle workplace issues and develop your confidence to represent them effectively.

The course runs every Tuesday from the 25th of February to the 25th of March. It is delivered via Microsoft Teams. The course equates to a total of 30 learning hours through a combination of online webinar tutorials, research and written feedback.

It is important to be able to commit to taking part in all five of the online tutorials, as outlined here:

  • 10am – 3pm Tuesday 25th February 2025
