In this session, we will explore and discuss the concept of mindfulness, understand the benefits of practicing it regularly, and try some short mindfulness exercises. It is taking place as part of our Learning at Work Week series.

This course explores the ways mindfulness:

  • helps to develop awareness and to live more fully in the present moment
  • refocuses thinking
  • tunes out past and future worries
  • helps to be fully present in the now aware of where you are and what you are doing.

Learn about what mindfulness is and how mindfulness improves overall health and well-being and helps to develop attitudes that contribute to a happy and satisfied life. It has been shown in clinical trials to have beneficial effects on both physical and mental wellbeing, and in relationships with ourselves and others.
