Neurodiversity understood

8 February 2022 12:00pm–1:30pm

Get the neurodiversity conversation started in your workplace. Talk about the range of ways people learn and think when they have conditions such as dyslexia, dyscalculia (maths difficulties), and dyspraxia, which affects motor coordination.

This 90-minute online session gives an introductory understanding of neurodiversity and is suitable for all UNISON members.

During this session participants will:

  • Gain an introductory understanding of neurodiversity
  • Learn to recognise and celebrate the positives of thinking differently
  • Recognise how the strengths of neurodiversity can benefit your organisation
  • Understand the next steps you need to take to become neuro-inclusive
