This webinar is open to UNISON members and will be suitable for anyone working in the social care industry that will be required to keep records/notes about the individual they support.

This session will focus upon what is meant by record keeping in social care and how to accurately write up records and reports. It will also focus upon difficulties that practitioners face when recording information due to their own subjectivity as human beings.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Define record keeping and report writing in the social care industry.
  • Build upon your knowledge and understanding of record keeping
  • Discuss the importance of using facts in record keeping rather than making assumptions when recording information.
