Join the debate about how UNISON can help shape the future of learning. Our 2019 ULR conference will introduce findings from the biggest learning survey of its kind and explore what the results mean for UNISON and for the workforce.
Morning: Dr Andrew Dean and Hilary Stevens (University of Exeter) will present findings from UNISON’s Skills for the Future survey, the biggest of its kind. Delegates will have the opportunity to explore what the results mean for UNISON members and the workforce at large, and discuss how to respond at local, regional and national levels.
Afternoon: Hear about new workshops and resources from UNISON member learning and Inclusive Learning Project. Explore the untapped potential of learning agreements. Discuss how to develop a culture of learning.
Through the day: Connect with organisations including the Open University, Wranx, and National Numeracy.
Doors open at 10.15am, with tea and coffee available.
Travel and accommodation
This event is free to attend. Travel expenses should be covered by branches. Accommodation will be provided only in exceptional circumstances.
