The UNISON anti-privatisation training is for UNISON local government activists to understand the problem of privatisation and learn about successful campaigns elsewhere.
The training will comprise of presentations and breakout rooms – depending on registrants – via Microsoft Teams. Topics covered will include:
- Understanding the problem of privatisation
- What has worked elsewhere to stop outsourcing?
- Conversations with decision makers
- UNISON resources and podcasting
- How to use the local government contract alerts?
- The national privatisation database
There is no charge for the training, but you must be a UNISON activist to join. You can share experiences on your campaigns. The course is interactive, so please come prepared to share your stories, and lessons. Registration is open until 3rd October.
