Financial Wellbeing Fortnight – sessions delivered by UNISON Debtline (PayPlan)

It is a simple fact that at this moment we are in challenging times financially.  No one is protected is necessarily protected from the impact from the current cost of living crisis.  Whether it is the increase in energy prices, travel costs or general shopping costs we could all benefit from understand what is available to us to make things more manageable.

As well as rising living costs, most of us also have debts we are trying to manage – whether it’s a mortgage, car purchase, mobile phone contract, credit card or loan.

However, there are times when our debts can start to feel unmanageable. Nearly 9 million adults in the UK are currently in serious debt – and more and more of us are finding ourselves in this situation due to real-terms pay cuts over the past 14 years, and now the growing cost-of-living crisis.

This webinar offers advice on how to keep your finances under control and how to use practical steps to make things more manageable.  As well as this we will show you how to seek confidential guidance and support to resolve problem debt if needed.  So, whether you have serious money worries or not, everyone can benefit from the information being shared.

The webinar is delivered by Antony Price, an experienced debt adviser at PayPlan.

PayPlan has been offering free debt advice for 30 years and currently helps over 100,000 people every year to get their finances under control, offering comprehensive guidance on a wide range of practical, long term debt solutions, including through UNISON’s Debtline service.

PayPlan is recommended by the government’s Money and Pension Service.
