Dementia Awareness

The course content includes:

  • Discussing the impact of dementia on memory and how to support someone experiencing memory impairment.
  • Considering the impact on the individual’s personality and how distressing this can be for family and those supporting them.
  • Listing ways in which we can offer immediate support to those living with dementia when in distress.
