Digital Skills: An Introduction to Excel June 2024

This short online workshop is intended for those who have little to no experience of using Microsoft Excel and who want to build up their confidence and knowledge of using it in personal and professional settings.

The course will take place via MS Teams on Wednesday 26 June 2024 from 10am to 11.40am

This course will:

  • Introduce you to cells, sheet layout, filtering, cell and number formatting and keyboard shortcuts
  • Show you how to freeze panes, create, copy and save charts, add, subtract, multiply and divide and change text and colour
  • Provide you with the skills and knowledge to perform tasks in Excel including how to use the autosum functions.

There will also be the opportunity for you to practise using Excel and to ask the tutors questions. Some useful links will be provided at the end of the course.
